Eoghan Ruadh For All.

Eoghan Ruadh Hurling Club was formed from an ethos of traditional GAA values.

The majority of our members and players were townies, hailing from Dungannon town itself.

Nowadays, players from as far away as Ballygawley, Eglish, Galbally and Moy come to hurl for Eoghan Ruadh.

We know this involves a greater commitment for parents of children living in these areas.

Ensuring their children attend training from week to week at the Hurling Fields.

We thank you all for this commitment and our Club is stronger because of you.

Dungannon town has evolved significantly in the last few decades.

The forces of imigration and emigration have played their part.

We have lost some great players to Australia, the Middle East and North America.

However, we are indebted to the support they continue to give the Club.

Fortunately, this emigration has been counteracted by a growing population which includes immigration.

School coaching officers over the past years including John Devlin and Damhlach Rush have worked hard at Primary Schools throughout our area.

They have introduced hurling to Children who would never have played the small ball before.

These kids with a keen interest and maybe some curiosity have developed their skills further within the Club.

At Eoghan Ruadh everyone is welcomed into our Hurling Family, everyone is treated with fairness and equality.

It is a Club for everyone, a place where you make friends for life.
